On April 14, at approximately 7:09 p.m., the Evesham Police responded to the Walmart store located at 150 E. Route 70 for a shoplifting in progress.
Investigation determined that a white or Hispanic male attempted to shoplift $934.08 worth of electronics by exiting the store through a side entrance without paying for the merchandise. When Walmart Loss Prevention attempted prevent the suspect from leaving with the merchandise, the suspect fled on foot through the parking lot and entered a getaway vehicle that was waiting for him. The vehicle is described as a four door blue car bearing unknown Pennsylvania registration.
