Renfrew opens facility in Mt Laurel

The Renfrew Center, the nation’s first and largest network of eating disorder treatment facilities, recently announced its newest non-residential facility in Mount Laurel.

The site is Renfrew’s 11th location and, like all of its other centers, specializes in the treatment of anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorders and related mental illnesses.

Programming at the center consists of a comprehensive range of services, including day treatment, intensive outpatient, individual, family and couples therapy, group therapy and nutritional and psychiatric consultation.

“We’re excited to bring our experience to the South Jersey area,” Samuel E. Menaged, founder and president of the Renfrew Centers, said. “We selected Mount Laurel after receiving feedback from local patients and professionals and observing an overwhelming demand for services in the area.”

The Renfrew Center is one of the only specialized eating disorder treatment facilities that works directly with most major insurance companies. Treatment is backed by experienced staff members specializing in the psychology of eating disorders and Renfrew’s philosophy is to encourage people to participate actively in their own growth and recovery.

The Renfrew Center of Southern New Jersey is located at 1500 Midlantic Drive, Suite 101, Mt. Laurel.
