Hey, that bike looks very familiar…

The following items can be found on file with the Haddonfield Police Department:

• A motorist observed a male riding a red bicycle on Meadow Drive on Feb. 1 on 2:07 p.m. The bicycle was his and he stopped the suspect on the bike, who then took off and walked away on Coles Mill Road. An officer stopped the suspect and he was positively identified.

The bike was valued at $700. He was transported to Camden County Jail, processed, and had his bail set at $2,500.

• A W. Cottage Avenue resident reported to police on Feb. 1 at 3 p.m. that an unknown suspect had charged $1,539 to her visa card. She reported the charges to the police and was advised to contact her financial institution.

She contacted her bank and her account was put on hold.

• A Loucroft Road resident reported to police on Jan. 28 at 10:07 p.m. that she and her husband returned home and saw that her home had been broken into. The suspects had gained entry into the house by forcing the door open and then unlocked the deadbolt.

The resident said that the master bedroom had been ransacked. Her dresser drawers, clothing, and jewelry had been strewn throughout the room.

No neighbors could give any information on the break-in.
