Come enjoy a free afternoon of jazz with the Brian Betz Quartet, featuring Denis DiBlasio, on Sunday, Jan. 8, at 2 p.m., at the Mount Laurel Library. The concert is open to the public. No registration needed.
Betz is a guitarist, composer and educator who resides in the Philadelphia Area. He was a two- time winner (2004 and 2007) of the Betty Carter International Jazz Competition and a runner up for the 2006 Henry Mancini Jazz competition.
Baritone saxophonist DiBlasio directs the jazz program at Rowan University. With nine recordings of his own, along with published texts, arrangements and compositions, DiBlasio is known throughout the world. The quartet will feature guitar, sax, drums and bass.
