Want to know more about the liquor referendum? Pick up the phone

In an effort to provide even greater accessibility and transparency to their educational efforts supporting two referendum questions on the ballot this November, PREIT Services President Joseph F. Coradino will host a Telephone Town Hall for Moorestown residents on Thursday evening from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., announced a spokesman for the Property Tax Relief for Moorestown, who are working with PREIT to advocate passage of the referendums.

The Telephone Town Hall, a popular communication tool used by other corporate and governmental leaders, was selected by Coradino to allow the widest possible participation by local residents in this public forum. Residents will listen to Coradino speak about the referendums, while also having an opportunity to ask him questions or voice their concerns.

“Giving Moorestown residents the opportunity to participate in this tele-town hall event allows me to communicate with as many people as possible, and to do it on their terms, in the comfort of their own homes,” said Coradino, who has already spoken live to the Moorestown Rotary, Moorestown Business Association and residents of the Collins Park neighborhood, and plans to attend this weekend’s Autumn in Moorestown Festival. “I know people want to ask me questions and hear more about our plans for the Mall, but I also know people are busy with their professional and personal lives. Utilizing this technology will guarantee the largest possible participation from Moorestown residents. I am looking forward to it.”

If residents would like to participate in the Telephone Town Hall, all they need to do is be available to pick up the phone on Thursday night around 6:30 p.m. Any registered voter with a listed telephone number will be called and given an opportunity to join in.
