Cherry Hill accident claims Mt. Laurel man’s life

According to the Cherry Hill Police Department, Philip Aronow of Haddonfield struck a tree with the driver side front headlight while travelling northbound on Cropwell Road just north of Jordan Court on Sept. 20.

Upon impact, the vehicle rotated counter-clockwise and came to rest up against the tree line. The front seat passenger, David Rudlus of Mount Laurel, was transported to Cooper Trauma by Cherry Hill EMS.

Initial reports at Cooper listed Rudlus as critical, but stable. The Cherry Hill Police Department was later notified by the Medical Examiner’s Office that Rudlus had succumbed to his injuries.

The driver, Aronow, was transported to Virtua Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
