The following item can be found on file with Evesham Fire-Rescue:
• It was reported recently that on Saturday, June 11, Engine 2212 and Chief 2210 responded to the Holiday Village section of Mount Laurel Township for a dwelling fire. Engine 2212 arrived as the third-due engine and assisted Mount Laurel units in extinguishing a house fire which heavily consumed a one story dwelling in this retirement community.
Ladder 2215 responded on the second alarm assignment and stood by at the scene providing manpower. Crews were on location for about two hours and returned to town after providing the assistance.
Evesham Fire-Rescue routinely provides assistance to Mount Laurel Fire Department in a reciprocal aid agreement.
