Jantek Industries, LLC has signed an agreement with the U.S. Department of Energy to provide windows to the department’s High Performance Windows Volume Purchase Program.
The program is run by the DOE’s Pacific Northwest National Laboratory as part of the Department of Energy’s Building Technologies Program.
“The mission of the DOE’s Building Technologies Program is to develop technologies, techniques and tools for making, both commercial and residential buildings more energy efficient, productive and affordable” said Frank Giuseppini, Jantek’s C.O.O. “The High Performance Window’s Volume Purchase Program, as part of the overall Building Technologies Program is coordinating the volume purchase of high performance windows, like those manufactured by Jantek, to expand the market of these high efficiency products.”
According to the DOE’s Web site, price has been principal barrier to more widespread commercial use of high efficiency windows in the market. This program is aimed at providing high efficiency windows at truly affordable prices.
“Jantek has been manufacturing and installing its R5 Energy Star™ Certified Super Energy Saving windows at very affordable prices directly from its Medford New Jersey manufacturing facility for over 15 years” says Giuseppini. “Because we design, manufacture and install without middle men, our prices are very affordable so we are a perfect fit into the DOE program’s objectives.”
