If they have game faces in tennis, it’s time to put one on

The state playoffs for tennis will begin tomorrow and The Chiefs have found out their first round matchup. The fifth-seeded Cherokee High School varsity tennis team will take to the courts tomorrow at 3 p.m. against the 12th-seeded Millville High School, athletic secretary Valerie Dolores reported today.

The match will be played at home at Cherokee High School.

Prior to The Chiefs participating in the individual Olympic Conference tournament this past weekend, the team defeated Cherry Hill West 5–0 last week on Wednesday, May 4. The Chiefs didn’t lose a single game the entire match as it routed Cherry Hill High School West.
