The following items were taken from reports on file with the Cherry Hill Police Department:
On May 4, police responded to the 400 block of Rt. 70 for an alarm. Police located a sliding door open and entered to find that the house had been burglarized. The actor(s) entered by forcing open the ground level window. The resident advised police that the home was unoccupied from May 2 to 4. Nothing was reported missing at this time. The incident under investigation by Cherry Hill Investigative Unit.
On May 4, police responded to the unit block of Parkwood Rd. for the report of a burglary. The resident reported that the burglary took place between 7:30 a.m. and 4:25 p.m. The actor(s) gained entry via forcing open a rear ground level window. Jewelry was reported missing. This incident is under investigation by the Cherry Hill Investigative Unit.
On May 4, police responded to the 400 block of Browning Ln. for the report of a burglary. The residents reported the burglary took place on May 3 between 7:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. The actor(s) may have gained entry via the unlocked front door. U.S. currency was reported missing. This incident is under investigation by the Cherry Hill Investigative Unit.
On May 3, at 1:43 a.m., police were conducting a patrol of a parking lot on the 700 block of Hampton Rd. and observed a suspicious occupied vehicle. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that the driver from Maple Shade was in possession of narcotics and was charged accordingly.
On May 3, at 10:46 p.m., police conducted a motor vehicle stop for violations. During the course of the stop, it was determined that the driver had a local warrant. The male driver from Pennsauken was also found to be in possession of narcotics and was charged accordingly with Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and the local warrant.
On May 2, at 3 p.m., police conducted a motor vehicle stop for violations. During the course of the stop it was determined that the passenger had given police a false name and had a local warrant. The passenger, a female from Eastampton, was also found to be in possession of narcotics and was charged accordingly with Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Schedule Narcotic, Possession of Marijuana, and Hindering Apprehension. The driver, a female from Lumberton, was found to be in possession of a “stun gun” type weapon and was charged with Possession of Prohibited Weapons.
