Eastern vs. Cherokee will have to wait

Eastern Regional High School Athletic Director Phil Smart announced several changes to the upcoming varsity schedule this week.

The varsity baseball team will have its game against Olympic Conference foe Cherokee High School, originally scheduled for Saturday, May 7, rescheduled to May 24 at 10 a.m. The game will be played at Cherokee High School, he said.

The junior varsity team will also play Cherokee High School on the same day and time, he said. The freshman team will play at home against Cherokee at 10 a.m.

The varsity baseball team will also change an upcoming game from an afternoon start time to a night game. Eastern Regional vs. Sterling High School, Thursday May 5, will be changed from a 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. start time.

The junior varsity team will also change its start time from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. against Sterling High School as well.
