It was a good week for Eastern Regional High School athletics, as several seniors declared where they will attend college. The athletes will be continuing their athletic careers at the respective institutions of higher education.
Athletic Director Phil Smart reported that senior athlete Alexandria DeSousa has committed to Division III Drew University. DeSousa will be attending the university and will play field hockey for the athletic program.
Smart also reported that Amanda Craig, a senior at Eastern High School, signed a letter of intent to continue her academic and rowing career at Division II Nova South Eastern University.
Smart congratulated both of the athletes on their accomplishments.
