On February 22, at 8 p.m., the Evesham Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle on Empress Court in Marlton. During the motor vehicle stop investigation a 25-year-old female of Beechwood Avenue in Cherry Hill was arrested for several Controlled Dangerous Substances violations.
The suspect was found to be in the possession of 60 bags of heroin packaged for sale, reported officers.
The suspect was charged with the Possession with the Intent to Distribute CDS and Possession of CDS.
She was committed to the Burlington County Jail in default of $35,000Â bail.
Also on Feb. 22 at approximately 10:20 p.m., the Evesham Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop on Greentree Road in the area of Church Road in Marlton.
During this motor vehicle stop investigation a 21-year-old female from Country Lane in Mt. Laurel was arrested for several Controlled Dangerous Substances related offenses.
She was found to be in possession of 29 bags of marijuana packaged for sale, as well as un-prescribed prescription medications.
The suspect was charged with Possession with the Intent to Distribute CDS and Possession of CDS.
She was released pending a municipal court hearing.
