On Dec. 12, age 92 years, of Haddonfield, beloved husband of the late Theresa L. (nee Moran). Devoted father of William T. (Donna) of Haddonfield, Patricia (Bob) Battey of The Woodlands, Texas, and Kenneth E. (Cathy) of Moorestown. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, and sisters-in-law Anne Moran and Alice Garrity.
Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Lowther worked for Arco Refining & Marketing and after 39 years retired as a senior mechanical inspector for their Central Engineering Services. He was a sports car enthusiast who was often consulted by fellow Porsche Club of America members on the workings of the Porsche 356. He loved to travel, and he and Terry lived for a few years in Coronado, Calif., and Houston, Texas. Mr. Lowther was also a 32o Mason for more than 50Â years.
Relatives and friends of the family may call Wednesday, Dec. 15 7–9 p.m. and Thursday, Dec. 16, after 9:30 a.m. at the Evoy-Banasz Funeral Home, 129 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights where services will follow at 10 a.m. Interment Trinity Lutheran Church, Philadelphia.
