Celebrate the holiday season in Haddonfield with a one-of-a-kind shopping experience for the entire family — Haddonfield’s Candlelight Shopping.
Set to take place through Dec. 17, as well as Thursday, Dec. 23, from 6 to 9 p.m., Haddonfield’s Candlelight Shopping will feature unique gift ideas and exciting in-store holiday events, as well horse-drawn carriage rides, live holiday entertainment throughout town, and visits from Santa Clause. Not only will Haddonfield’s beautiful downtown be decorated throughout the month of December with sparkling white lights and glowing trees, but the streets of Haddonfield will also be lined with luminaries on Friday nights during Candlelight Shopping — providing holiday warmth to shoppers.
Holiday performers scheduled during Haddonfield’s Candlelight Shopping include Shades of Harmony Chorus, Bittersweet Duo, Special Occasion Quartet, Jersey Sound Chorus of the Sweet Adelines International, Pine Barons Barbershop Chorus and the Three Good Men Quartet, as well as Madrigals from high schools in Haddonfield, Cherry Hill and Deptford.
Fabulous shopping is available in Haddonfield everyday throughout the holiday season — with many stores keeping extended hours. Horse-drawn carriage rides will also be available from noon-3 p.m. on the following Saturdays and Sundays — Dec. 11, 12, 18 and 19 — in addition to Friday nights during Haddonfield’s Candlelight Shopping.
Downtown Haddonfield is also offering town-wide gift certificates at a discounted rate of 10-percent off through Friday, Dec. 24. Gift certificates can be purchased at the Haddonfield Information Center, located at 2 Kings Court, and can be used at stores and restaurants throughout Haddonfield.
