Historical Society’s Candlelight Dinner March 24

The Historical Society of Haddonfield will hold its Candlelight Dinner at Tavistock Country Club on Wednesday, March 24 at 6 p.m.

The speaker, Garry Stone, local historian, will speak on The Indian King, 1777–1778: The Tavern at a Cross-Roads, a Tavern in the Cross-Fire.

Garry’s talk will discuss the little-known history of Haddonfield and its role in the middle of the action in the Revolutionary War. Don’t miss this interesting tale of the trials and tribulations of our Revolutionary heroes right here in this area.

Reservations may be made by phoning the Society at 429–7375. The dinner cost is $42 for Society members and $45 for non-members.

Checks should be sent to the Historical Society of Haddonfield, 343 Kings Highway East, Haddonfield, NJ 08033.
