Katz 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament

The community is invited to attend the annual Eric and Andy Sussman Memorial 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament at the Katz JCC, being held Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19. The two-day basketball special event merges family fun, competitive basketball and fundraising efforts dedicated to the memory of Eric and Andy Sussman, brothers from Cherry Hill, who loved playing basketball at the JCC.

This year’s 3-on-3 event will kick off on Saturday, April 18 at 6:30 p.m. with a Family Fun Night for children grades K through 5, and their parents. Young basketball enthusiasts can enjoy 3-on-3 stations, pop a shot, dunking contests and a dribbling gauntlet. Other activities include a moonbounce, arts ’n’ crafts, face painting and a dessert decorating station. From 8 to 10:30 p.m. there will be a teen event for sixth to eighth graders, featuring 3-on-3 tournaments, swimming, XRKADE interactive games, snacks and music by New York Entertainment.

Sunday, April 19 at 8 a.m. begins the Sussman Family 3-on-3 Tournament for participants 15 and older. There will be two divisions, high school or open (18 and up).

Proceeds from the Sussman 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament will benefit youth basketball programs at the Katz JCC and the Jimmy V Foundation. For more information or to register contact Emily Lieberman at 424–4444 ext. 145 or online at www.katzjcc.org.
